Flow.
Thought I'd get people thinking, try to stimulate some 'real' discussion over here
Flow. What do you think flow is? What does it mean to you? Have you experienced flow?
Flow is a fairly new concept to me, despite it being a constant factor in all of our lives (whether we have it or not it affects us). But learning of its existance and now being constantly aware of it and eagerly seeking it out has changed my life.
Flow is that moment - long or short - where everything seems to just fall in place, that kong seems effortless, you don't have to think about it - it just happens, your focus is so deep that you do a jump for the first time like you've done it a million times before and figure out later that it's bigger than you thought possible, time slows down and you land a precision perfectly, you do a 'flow' through a series of obstacles and time speeds up and the whole thing feels like nothing when you're done... there's a million examples and it's not just relevant to Parkour, it affects your whole life.
Why does this happen? I'll leave that question for you guys to answer without my bias...

Re: Flow.
Wow Thats a hard one !
Basically when i get my flow going it causes an outbreak in my mind that i never thought was possible !
With every landing step going into another obstacle with effortless easy.
Just the feel of that effortless movement and the length it takes you to pass it from going so fast feels like you on top of the world.
It's good to practice coordination with flow for when your going into another obstacle without looking where your going. The best way I've found to deal with this is running full speed along rocks and 'spotting' where your going to land in 'midair'
I'm a bit off today ( mentally wise ) but i'll have a good think about it & post back. Whats everyone's thoughts on this ?
