2m drop gone bad
Ok well I'm still not to sure what happened but it went something like this. . .
I was training down the river the other day and i just finished around the park area.
I then headed to the bridge for some balancing, cat walks & to practice my rolls on concrete, i had warmed-up with my rolls doing them off .5m - 2m so i decided to run to the bridge.
I konged to precision over the bench on Annendale side, speed vaulted over the railing and then done this huge monkey to 2m drop. While i was falling though the air i thought i had it pretty much planed-out but as i hit the ground it sent me so hard down i couldn't even roll ?
I have done this drop at least 50times and never stuff it up, i had my body loose & hit my landing almost perfectly. . . I was just wondering if the body can actually loose energy over a long period of time.
Because i felt like i had heaps of energy & planed it out perfectly but still couldn't manage to go into a roll and i fell to my left side and hit my knee.
( that's the only thing i can think of, i landed nice and soft & was full of energy, i was going to try a standing precision to see if i could still get 2m but my knee was too sore )
Any thoughts on what could of happened ?

Re: 2m drop gone bad
I think you lost your flow... maybe you had a little more 'hang time' than previously and started to think too much about what you were doing and at the time when you should have just been 'doing' your brain was busy 'thinking' and your 'action' failed... you suck!! But seriously, you're better than that man. Work your 'stuff' out, let your body heal and go back and nail it!! It's the only thing for it...
