Summer School Holiday Parkour Jam 2009/10

Times, dates and locations for the Summer School Holiday Parkour Jams have now been confirmed. This information is also printed in the Townsville City Council's Hot Pocket School Holiday Guide.

All sessions are 3.30pm to 5pm. Details as follows:
Monday 14th December @ Bushland Beach Skate Park
Tuesday 15th December @ Charles Moroney Park
Thursday 17th December @ Cambridge Park
Thursday 7th January @ Heatley Park
Tuesday 12th January @ Rollingstone Community Centre
Thursday 14th January @ Healtey Park

btw im trying to get my parents to let me go to all of the jams not making any promises tho but ill deff probley be at the bushland beach skate park one.

i will be able to go to a couple if my mum or dad can give me a lift there

Cambridge Park is behind the Vincent Primary School, we're meeting at the playground equipment. It will be a mixture of Instructor/Student and free flow. We will be warming up together as usual, then setting challenges and doing various techniques and then stretching out together.

Cool sounds like alot of fun!

Don't under-estimate yourself.

When I first did parkour (not knowing it was parkour), I could vault a waist high (on me. I about 158. So about a 70-80 cm) fence. And then I built it up from there.

The session on the 7th was pretty big, best training I've done in a few weeks.

Hey guys, Big apologies to anyone we weren't able to contact regardign the two classes last week. Hartley and I were both in Melbourne doing Instructor Training with the Australian Parkour Association. It was an absolutely amazing experience and we can't wait to share it with you all. See everyone this afternoon at Charles Moroney Park at 3.30pm.
