Spots
Right this is just so that we all know where some parkour spots are around Townsville. So far i only know a few.
City Mall
Riverway
Strand (Some places along it)
JCU(If you dont get busted)
Schools are also great palces.
Belgian Gardens State School has heaps of stuff to do
St Josephs the strand has this staircase which just goes left to right heaps of time and looks really cool.
Pimlico has some spots but other than two or three small spots thats about its
Townsville Grammar should have some stuff there but we'll probably get kicked out because of it.
Any ideas people?

The Teachers at Grammar were gone yesterday.. So you shouldn't have any trouble until next year. but just be careful incase.
I know a small but alright spot.
The white house looking thing with the maroon rails near the maccas at north ward. Vaults and precision. Then around the side, there are apart ments so you could practice cat leap.
Then there is the cowboy/fury stadium
There is a huge disabled people stairway and they have rails. so vaults and precisions again. but you'll need cowboy/fury tickets. coz they have barb wire on the fence.
Re: Spots
haha yeahi saw a couple places at the fury stadium but if we do parkour during a game wed rasie awareness or get kicked out

Re: Spots
If you do stuff in any space you need to be aware of the consequences. In the example of the Fury Stadium, I know there's a lot of awesome stuff there, I've been lucky enough to have been allowed to do stuff there myself, but generally you'll not only get kicked out but could be fined as well as giving Parkour a bad name. Keep in mind, the worse people think of Parkour in general, the less opportunities we'll have to train, do different projects, get funding to do things, have special access to places etc. So be respectful of all of the spaces you train, clean up before you go, don't damage anything, don't train in places you know you aren't allowed, don't train in ways you know you aren't allowed (just think generally if you're training over head height you probably shouldn't be).

Re: Spots
Yeah. I realise that. I'm just saying that there is that there. Not saying you could/have to do it.
Re: Spots

Re: Spots
mmmm no not really. Well there is this one bit how you can run and then precision onto the stair rails and then onto the stairs
Then there is the railing and the hill
its pretty fun that.
Roll down it

Re: Spots
There are some really good spots around town but i dont think people would be very happy with us training there. Example. There are some mad as precision rails that zigg zagg for a while at St Josephs The Strand and the hotel or accomadation building next to the coffee club on the strand. We ran past it in the rain to get to juliettes but didnt bother trying it out.

Re: Spots
There is a playground around the back of CH (Castle Hill) PCYC. Underbars, vaults
And then there are some tables behind there in amongst some trees.

Re: Spots
I'll have to show you it some time, Joseph.
Cat leap at the strand. Rock pool. From the Bus stop to the fence beside it.
Probs about... a metre?
Good for new Tracuers.

Re: Spots
Dude that bus stop cat leap you can pretty much run and jump ova the seat and onto the gate if you can. I did a really cool soccer trick on it. i kicked the ball at the ground so it bounced up
hit the top of the fence and it came back. FLUKE!!!!
Spam much?
