I find that fences are good for practicing. When you get a little more experienced, Go for walls.

First; Look at where you're gonna grab onto.
Second; Actually jump (Shocked never thought that would happen). Swing your arms so that they are ready to grab onto where you are gonna grab onto.
Third; Try and get your feet to land on the object first before your hands.
Fourth; If running from someone, Pull yourself up and go over the fence. If just mucking around, get to a reasonable distance then drop.
Fifth; Continue your run.
