Sub Crews

I was thinking that we could make like little sub crews in this. So there is a group of people, that, every week or so they go down to somewhere and train as a group. And maybe some of the older Tracuers could come and watch and see how they progressing.

And each little crew/team could have their own shirt or something that they wear to Jams. and name. xD

Maybe have like crews of experience to not so experienced.

Just putting it out there.

Good idea, How would we get the Shirts though?

well u make an idea and well ( this is wat i did ) u gat a stencil image of a shirt back and front of google images and then draw an design with colour and a good patter with you name on it some where so people can identify you and other people have the same pattern with our crew name TPG and thier name

There is the Big TPC. Then, someone could get a group of friends together and then they could make a little "Team" so-to-speak. So they train together every week with eachother at a certain place.

I was thinking, for my crew, we could get like a picture of the person doing the same vault over the same object. Just not a the same time coz yeah. It would look not good.

It would be a good idea if we had a lot of tracures & we couldn't teach anything at jams cus there's too many people. But i just don't see the point at this stage. We kinda do have things like that, just theres probally only 20 or so regulars that are participating weekly.

I guess if there were like 5+ guys that live around the same area you guys can post something up in the 'weekly jams sections' on the jams & events page so that anyone around the area can join in and always know you guys will be at the same spot every week.

It dose sound like a great idea to have some mates that will go train with you around townsville every week, but i feel going further and making heaps of lil groups of people doing parkour in townsville will just make things confusing for people who just wanna go and do some parkour regardless of who there with.

By all means you guys can go for it but i just feel it would be better to have one big community.

We do like to see people push there limits & having someone with you can really help you archive that. But competition can lead to rivalry and worst, some dude trying to do something he knows he's not ready for and ending up seriously hurt from it.

But yeah, we do have a few small group of guys like that, we had the river boys when i was running the weekly Apleins Weir sessions, got the Stuart Boys & we got Heaps of new young guys that have been introduced into the art by Dave.

Daves sessions are the best, the way he teaches them are so that you still learn heaps every day but you do it over a long period so you don't just jump into stuff your not ready for, But don't worry we all do at the start. The longer you train with him the more you will understand about parkour, mentally & physically.

But i do like how you guys are trying to organize parkour activity's on a weekly basis. Remember you can learn soo much from others even if you don't think so, if you want to learn something just ask & i'm sure someone will help.

It's finnaly sorted, i got 2weeks off from work, so i'll pop-in and train with ya guys everyday something eles isn't on (Y)

Maybe we won't have "battles". Maybe have Parkour races along the strand? Or maybe a relay with the teams? So have a certain person specialise at a certain area and stuff. (Y)

Haha. Youre really persistant at having teams arnt you. Problem is if we have poeple from a certain suburb like Belgian Gardens. It would be a bunch of kids. And poeple wouldnt take us seriously. I mean they would look at us and think "Reckless teenagers"

lol, i haven't been to a jam, because, the last one they said to go on Tuesday to grammar school, and then they changed it to river way so i was training by myself at grammer for 3 hours
