Townsville Flashmob !

Welcome to Flash Mob Event #2 - Pirates Vs Ninjas Battle

The plan for this flash mob is a partially coordinated battle where a group of pirates run from one direction and a group of ninjas from another direction and they clash and do battle in the middle of the JCU O Week Market Day

The time of the event hasn't been set as we don't want too much info being leaked just yet, but we do want ppl to know some info so that we can hopefully get a large group of flash mobbers for this event.

Just so you know, we will require all ppl taking part in this event to either be dressed to some extent as a pirate or a ninja (as elaborate as u wish) and to be able to meet a couple of days before at JCU to coordinate how the event will proceed. Also, we would ask that anyone who chooses to bring a sword, katana, scimitar, gun or parrot that they be plastic or stuffed as we dont want any legal battles to add to the fun

START: Monday, February 15 at 8:00am
FINISH: Friday, February 19 at 5:00pm
Location: O Week (JCU, Douglas Campus)

For all of you that don't know what a FlashMob is . . .

We don't flash, mobs. A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse. Here are some examples of Flash Mobs in action !

It'll go down like this:

Everyone's standing around having a good old chat, checking out the markets.
All of a sudden all these people ( from both corners ) will start running at each other screaming & once they collide they will do battle with swords, fists, shields & guns until everyone's dead ( and laying on the ground ).
Then everyone gets up & walks away like nothing happened lol.

*It's all random & heaps of fun for everyone participating & the spectators What a Face

You might of seen 'flashmobs' on the news before. A common one is "The Freeze".

*The actual event will only be for one day & will probably only last 10mins max !
The time given above is just a rough time (it'll be within them 5 days, will post the time up closer to the event).
We can't leak to much info as someone might see it & post it all over the place, then when we goto do the flashmob everyone will know about it & it wont be a surprise !
