Moves
Just wondering what everyone's fav & unfav moves are ?
I would have to say Speed Vaults are my fav since i use them in mostly very environment
Plus there just a really simple vaults to learn / preform.
My least fav move would have to be dash's, just cus of the fact that they feel really weird & i know i do them really good but its just the feeling of the vault that makes me feel like im about to break my arm lol. but then again they are really awquad to do

Re: Moves
Seeing as though I suck at vaults (I know, what sort of tracuer am I) and I'm really not confident with them at all. I'll have to say I love balancing, on anything. I just love jumping up into trees or onto fences and walking along. I try to get up without using my hands at all and try not to put my arms out to help balance. Love a challenge.

Re: Moves
hmm i love vaults lol. favourite would be a 360 barrel roll (once i actually get it down right -.-)
uuuhh my least favourite... haha thats a hard one. everything's a challenge and i enjoy it all.. but id probably have to say 360 underbars.. theyre good fun to do but you have to slow down heaps to do em otherwise you just twist your arms and end up in a heap on the ground.

Kong Vualts are real fun to do, they also look cool. the least favorite would be under bars becuase i always end up hitting my head on the bar or twisting my body too far

Re: Moves
LOL !
Once you two get em down i have a feeling you'll love em
Just gotta keep switching/changing it around till you find something that works for you.

Re: Moves
Any vault that's new/different. Vaults to precision, vaults to cat grab, vaults through narrow gaps, vaults at weird angles etc etc etc....

Re: Moves
New favorite move would have to be sideflips
have been doing them over everything ( they buildup soo much strength )
Got nothing i dislike but would have to say 540 monkeys ( similar to a b-kick/barrel-roll )
The only reason i don't like this vault is i tried to step it up to a 720 vault and twisted my ankle 2weeks ago. Still hurts when i warm up & it doesn't seem to wanna crack no matter how hard i twist it.

Re: Moves
My fave would probably be either Kong or Dash. Lol. The opposites of eachother. Yin, Yang.
Least would be underbars. Hurt your head if you don't get it right in small spots.

Re: Moves
Kong and Monkey are ways of describing two of the many types of Cat Pass or Saut de Chat. Yes, typically 'Kong' is a stretched out forward leap where you then push off the vault with both hands evenly to both carry further and to bring your torso back into a more upright position. 'Monkey' is about explosive power out of the hands and feet - I use that style Cat Pass for getting up on something for example.
I've never heard of a simple vault, I think you guys are either badly explaining a real vault or incorrectly doing a real vault...

Re: Moves
it's just called a vault ( nothing specail)
He means a two-handed vault.
Nicknamed "simple" vault. Coz it's pretty simple to do.
Re: Moves
Ahh kinda like a kong but letting your legs go out to the side/ crooked speed vault.
Simple Vault ?
Simple Vault ?
Re: Moves
When you do a monkey, Swing your legs through your arms as usual but take your hands off as your legs are on the other side.
so, Sorta like a kash. Just you keep your hands on.

Re: Moves
Meh, looks crap to me. Do a cat pass or a speed vault... Looks like you'd just get twisted forno reason...

Re: Moves
ha nice its basically just a regular vault like we did when we where young just basically climbing over it
Re: Moves
It'll be good training wise ( jump over the rail, hold yourself up, then flick back over ) but it's not really efficient for parkour. As dave has said a speed vault would be heaps faster/easier
Re: Moves
Once I get my reverse vaults down. Like over longer things. Then They'll be my favourite.
Just having a bit of natural trouble. Keeping my right hand ( because I spin to my left <<< ) on for too long. but I'll eventually get that down

Re: Moves
yer man that's the same with me after my bike crash on thursday ( check bone bused epically ) um yer i keep my left hand on for to long over tables <<
i should just go back to rails =D
